School of Planning and Architecture (SPA Alumni) is an exclusive university that was started in 1941, and is one of its kinds. SPA Alumni provides extensive training in architecture & design. A renowned institute, it is an autonomous body that has over 300 registered members, extending rigorous support in the field of architecture. It always strives for excellence, extending their lead to newer frontiers of education and research.

Associated with the IIA, both the bodies collectively promote and encourage social and professional activities concerned with architecture. They also hand over prizes for outstanding project works. SPA promotes general interest in the practice of designing and development of modern architecture.

Institute of Town Planners, India (ITPI) set up in 1951, comprises over 2800 members today. It provides training in specialised subjects like town planning, civic design and development of towns, cities and rural areas. The institute has dynamic members, all-encompassing of Corporates, Fellows and Retired associates too.

ITPI promotes teaching of subjects that are related to town and country planning. A prominent institute, it has made notable contributions to our country in the field of architecture and many town planning projects. IIA is proud to have such an outstanding associate, making the event even more remarkable.
